AGREEMENT TO OUR TERMS
These Affiliate Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Affiliate Program (“Program”) offered by Salt in our Hair Media (“Salt in our Hair”, “we”, “us”, “our”) for the promotion of our online course at https://academy.saltinourhair.com (the “Course”).
By signing up to become an affiliate, you agree to comply with these Terms and the terms set forth for the whole site here. If you do not agree, you may not participate in the Program.We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions from time to time. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms and Conditions to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Terms and Conditions by your continued use of the Services after the date such revised Terms and Conditions are posted.
1. Affiliate Eligibility
We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion and to revoke affiliate access at any time for any reason.
2. Commissions
You will earn a commission for each eligible sale of the Course that is made through your unique referral link. Commission rates, cookie duration, and payment terms will be outlined in your affiliate dashboard or in separate communications upon approval.
Commissions will not be paid on:
- Your own purchases
- Refunded or fraudulent transactions
- Transactions that cannot be verified or tracked due to user error or system limitations
We reserve the right to adjust commission rates or terminate commission payments for any reason, with or without notice.
3. Payments
Commission payouts will be made quarterly once the minimum payout threshold has been reached. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date payment details.
You are solely responsible for paying any taxes owed on your commissions.
4. Promotional Guidelines
You agree to promote the Course in a truthful, ethical, and responsible manner. You must:
- Disclose your affiliate relationship clearly and prominently (e.g., “I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link”).
- Avoid false, misleading, or exaggerated claims.
- Only use official branding, graphics, and copy provided or approved by us.
You may not:
- Use paid ads that target our brand name, URL, or course name.
- Use spam, bots, fake accounts, or automated traffic.
- Promote on websites or platforms that feature illegal, adult, violent, or hateful content.
- Act in a way that could damage our reputation.
5. Intellectual Property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use our trademarks and marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting our Course as an approved affiliate. You may not modify our branding or claim ownership of any of our intellectual property.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or acted inappropriately.
Upon termination:
- You must stop promoting the Course immediately.
- You will forfeit any unpaid commissions from non-approved or disqualified transactions.
- Any misuse of our branding must cease immediately.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in the Program. We make no guarantees regarding income or success as an affiliate.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates.
9. Independent Contractor
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between you and Salt in our Hair. You do not have the authority to bind or represent us in any way.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Netherlands.
